Key Features

The Pelham has attachments for two reins, one near the mouthpiece and one at the end of the shank. Some riders, may prefer to use rein connectors. The Pelham shank will exert moderate poll pressure and leverage on the mouthpiece and curb.

The Bombers Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the horses tongue. Best suits a horse that accepts tongue pressure.

Cheekpiece

The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony. The standard size Pelham has 2 length shanks. The longer shank allows for more hand movement and slows the leveraging of the pressure points. Supplied with stainless steel curb chain and hooks.

Mouthpiece

For the horse that shakes its head up when in a snaffle. Recommended over the elliptical as the control plate offers a larger surface area for the pressure to be distributed over.
